Summary: Artifacts from Torchwood Two come well packed. A double drabble.
Jack stood in the empty loading bay as the large truck reversed slowly into the space. He'd been looking forward to today for weeks.
'I see our delivery from Archie has arrived,' Ianto said, sidling up beside him with his clipboard in hand.
'Yup. No idea what the old guy has in store for us, but there's a whole bunch of stuff up in Glasgow. It's a bit like Christmas.'
'More lucky a lucky dip,' Ianto observed as the truck pulled to a stop and cut its engine.
The driver got out and opened the back revealing a single large object. It was impossible to tell what it was. All the two of them could see was a huge wad of bubble wrap covering it from top to bottom. It might have been ten foot square, or ten inches square. Jack knew he wouldn't have to worry about retcon today. The driver couldn't tell what it was, and neither could they.
'We're going to need a really sharp box knife to get all of that off it,' Ianto said.
'Or maybe it's a bubble wrap alien.'
'Is that a thing?'
Jack shrugged. 'Guess we find out when we poke it.'
