Summary: Ianto and Gwen are annoyed at Jack's stupidity, ruining their holiday celebration plans. A double drabble.

'Don't give me that look,' Jack said, watching his two teammates both scowling at him with the kind of disappointed annoyance that he hated. They seemed to forget sometimes that he was in charge.

'What part of look but don't touch is ever going to sink into that thick skull of yours?' Ianto asked. Jack didn't get a chance to answer before Gwen was on his case as well.

'A pumpkin, Jack. You turned into a bloody pumpkin!'

'It's Halloween! Would've been kinda weird if I'd turned into an eggplant.'

'You shouldn't have turned into anything!' Gwen said. 'You were supposed to leave that device for proper testing. You're the one that insists on all these protocols yet you never follow them. Undying isn't an excuse for stupidity.'

'I'm sorry, okay?'

They both sighed at him. 'The kids were so upset you couldn't come trick or treating with us', Ianto lectured. 'They've been talking about nothing else for weeks.'

'I still can't believe you went without me,' Jack sulked.

'You were a pumpkin,' Ianto reminded him. 'Leaving you on your desk was all we could do. I didn't fancy spending all night on pumpkin watch. No treats is punishment enough.'
