Summary: Jack has his own unique methods for persuading the media. A double drabble.

Jack slapped down the newspaper on the desk, abandoning it in favour of his mug of coffee.

'A slow news day?' Ianto enquired. 'I half expected us to feature somewhere between pages two and seven.' It was always going to be hard to hide the fact that half the Taff River had been full of pink soap bubbles, which were actually not soap bubbles at all, but sentient gel creatures who decided that the river was a perfect place for them to spawn. Finding a place to store them was challenging since the underground dock was saltwater and these guys preferred freshwater, not that Ianto considered the Taff terribly fresh.

'Not a mention,' Jack replied, looking pleased.

Ianto raised an eyebrow. 'Really? Didn't I see someone snooping around with a camera yesterday? How on earth did we spin that?'

Jack grinned. 'I might know someone who didn't mind doing me a favour.'

Ianto's eyes narrowed. 'What kind of a favour?'

Jack grinned salaciously. 'You really wanna know?'

'Probably not. Just so long as I don't have to explain to the rest of the team that we now have a company policy of sleeping with journalists to cover up alien incursions.'
