drabble_zone Summary: Ianto is annoyed that The Doctor can't bail them out. A double drabble.
'Door's locked,' Jack reported, looking back at his two companions.
'That would be what happens when you say hello to people,' the Doctor mused, bushy eyebrows knotting together in annoyance.
'I'm not going to stop saying hello to people,' Jack protested.
'Resulting in our current predicament,' Ianto observed. 'Can't you just wave your screwdriver around and get us out?'
'It's a wooden door.'
'So?'
'Doesn't work on wood.'
Jack was waving from behind that Ianto should most definitely not say anything. Bollocks to that. Jack never paid him any mind when he wanted Jack to keep his big mouth shut. 'Well, that’s a bit rubbish,' Ianto said, casting a disparaging look at the device.
'It’s not rubbish! It's just a bit sensitive. This is highly sopsitichated technology we’re talking about here.'
'So sophisticated it doesn't know how to open a wooden door.'
'I can't be expected to deal with every primitive thing that crosses my path! You for a start.'
'Oh, so now I'm the primitive one?' He reached into his pocket and extracted his wallet, containing his trusty set of lockpicks. 'Well, let's see how I do with these and then let's talk about who the backwards one is.'
