Notes: Andy unfortunately knows his place in this new world order. A double drabble.

'Well, this isn't half weird,' Andy said as he stood there outside the yellow police tape, watching Gwen walking toward him, and toward whatever it was that the officers on scene had cordoned off before calling in for backup. Even Andy didn't know exactly what it was. They'd just said "it's beyond weird, so the boss has said to tape it off and wait for special ops." Special ops were still on their way. In the meantime, the other "special ops" had arrived.

'Hiya,' Gwen greeted.

'So, this is where you tell me to go home and pretend there's nothing here to see?' he asked. 'Time was it was me telling you what to do.'

'Oh, Andy, don't be like that,' Gwen insisted, resting her hand on his arm. 'We're all just doing our jobs.'

'Yo, Andy!' Jack called out. 'Tell your people they can pack up and go home. Nothing to see here,' he added, charging past and under the police tape.

'See what I mean? Cutler is going to be pissed as hell when he finds out, and he doesn't even believe in any of this alien bollocks.'

'We'll handle it,' Gwen assured him. 'You get on home.'
