Notes: Ianto is faced with the most terrible decision of his life. A double drabble.

Ianto was utterly torn up inside. There on the ground, dead, was the person he'd loved more than life itself, and yet here also was stood a girl claiming to be his whole life. Her brow was matted with blood and crudely stitched together like some horrible Frankenstein's monster. She started telling him things - things that only he and Lisa would know - memories of times spent together when it was just them and nobody else.  

'I need you to hold me, Ianto,' she begged.

It was Lisa. He knew that. Her, in inside this other woman, but for a moment he didn't care. He rushed forward and enveloped her in his arms. She was human again, and yet it still felt wrong. He'd thought by touching her he could dispel the thoughts of how she could murder another person to save herself. That wasn't his Lisa. She'd never do that. She'd die first. The monster that had been living inside her was still there, prepared to kill to survive.

It broke his heart to step away, holding his gun aloft and ready to kill. Jack had been right all along. The monster had to be stopped, no matter the cost.
